The Rough Cut of my final project can be found here
1. Information about your project that you would like people to know?
This is just a lose script of my project I will most likely not stick to it exactly and just let it flow when I am recording. I will most likely be uploading a video later on tonight or tomorrow morning. I also am figuring out what you say for the parts in parenthesis but figured it would be easier to wait until I actually can talk about what I am doing.
Major Weaknesses?
I do not know how I am going edit this all together so if anyone has any suggestions on tools to help with iMovie that would be great. I am particularly wondering if there is a way to record my screen without having a camera pointing at it.
Major Strengths?
I am trying my best to not make this project a video of me just talking to a camera. A lot of the time I will be recording what I am doing on my screen (still have to figure out how to do that) and just speaking over it.

Production Report 14b
This post will be a continuation of my "Production Report 14a" post except I will break down a different part of my content outline.
Audience Questions:
How did you decide to use form to present your content in the raw material you’ve shared here? How did the conventions of your chosen genre influence your choices?
Like I said in the previous post, I will be just showing the script of the video so I will not have any of the genre conventions of a video essay.
How did the production of this raw material go? What kinds of any hiccups, challenges, successes, creative epiphanies, etc. occurred during the process?
The production of this script was pretty easy. Since I am just reflecting, a lot of the ideas flow much smoother than with the other projects.

(3) Peer Editing
One of the things that we did a lot of in English 109H is peer review. Now I have mixed opinions on this because sometimes it was extremely helpful and other times it was not. One of the main problems with peer editing is terrible peers. You can tell when people do not care about what they are reviewing because it actually shows in their reviews. The comments sometimes are not helpful because they either do not make sense or are to vague to actually help. (Expand more on later as it comes naturally)
The thing I liked about peer editing was actually looking at other people works especially those in the same genre conventions. It helps to see how other people are doing it so you can see the strength of other people but also see what you may want to avoid that they did. It is also helpful seeing the comments left by other reviewers because they can also help your own project. (Expand more)

Production Report 14a
This post will be about the Production of one part of my outline. I will be making a video so this post will just have the script of what is being said.
Audience Questions
How did you decide to use form to present your content in the raw material you’ve shared here? How did the conventions of your chosen genre influence your choices?
Since this is just the script I will not be showing any of the genre conventions in this post. I hope to add some music into my introduction to follow the conventions of a video.
How did the production of this raw material go? What kinds of any hiccups, challenges, successes, creative epiphanies, etc. occurred during the process?
The production of my outline went very smoothly. The introduction is not something I am extremely worried about. The only struggle I had is find music to put into my intro.

(1) Introduction
"Hello, I am Nicolas Herard and I am currently finishing up my second semester at the University of Arizona. As I reflect on my time spent during my first year here I can see how some classes have had an emense impact on me. Going to college, you are supposed to not only learn new things but build and refine the things you already know. Taking English 109H has done both of these. "

Peer Review for Emily Bond
I reviewed Emily Bonds "Production Schedule" which can be found here
I made a resource recommendation.
I do not really know much about video productions so I just suggested Emily do what I have been doing which is watching YouTube videos on editing.
I think this helped Emily by giving her resources to access when making a video.
I did not use any Student Material except the advice I heard in class from other students.
I admired how much time Emily set aside for editing. It takes a while to learn all the technology so setting aside that much time just to learn it all will help her a lot.

Content Outline
This outline will break down my Project 4 assignment. This outline will be in the form of how my video will look/sound. I have no clue how I should incorporate evidence.
Opening Section:
*Intro Music* to grab attention
Introduce Myself* grab attention of viewer by making it more personal
"Over this semester taking English 109H has improved my writing skills, time management/ writing process, and peer editing skills"
Body Sections:
(1) Writing Skills
Talks about how writing in different genre changed and improved my writing. Talk about how writing in high school and how your writing has advanced since.
Evidence: How I thought there was only one way to write and how I used to not use my voice.
Proves: That English 109H has expanded my writing and helped me incorporate my own voice into my work.
(2) Writing Process / Time Management
Talk about how I used to never analyze audience or genre convention. Talk about how all the blogs made sure I got my work done in a timely matter. (Maybe talk about problems with my writing before and problems I still have)
Evidence: My old writing used to follow the same form and never really followed the conventions of the genre I was in. I used to also always procrastinate but now I am able to get my projects done with relatively little stress.
Proves: English 109H has made my writing process more in depth and has bettered my time management.
(3) Peer editing
Talk about how not only getting reviewed by other but looking at other work helped expand my writing process. Also talk about the struggle and problems I faced during this problem.
Evidence: People leaving good/bad feedback. Talk about how I copied some of the formats of other people posts (QRG's) and used them for my own.
Proves: Using peer editing in English 109H has helped my writing process a lot.
Conclusion
How English 109H has helped. Final thoughts talking about how more people should take english and also how people should look at writing differently???? idk

Peer Review for Avalon Lubera
I peer reviewed Avalon Lubera's standard college essay here
I made a content suggestion. Like my other peer review, her essay did not really need much work. The one thing I suggested is to add more sources to make her more credible. Find sources supporting decriminalization should be very easy but will improve her essay a lot. Right now she takes a good stance and I believe her points but a they are mostly un-cited. So adding these citations would make her essay much stronger.
