How did the content change? How is this more effective?

How did the form change?

Now I have something to elaborate on in the following sentences.

Selection from Rough Cut

Also, most of the time research papers have multiple authors. This plays a big role in building the credibility of an author. The name that appears first usually is the one that did the most work and was most involved in the experiment. The names following are people that pitched in data or helped fund the research. The more times a researcher appears first, the more credible is word is in that field. Furthermore, when a researcher has established himself he starts to allow the people under him to put their names first so that they may build their credibility. As their name appears more, journals start asking them to write for them which further improves credibility.

“A researcher also establishes his credibility by the type of journals he is published in. Premiering in well known journals gives the author more recognition” (Wright). However, his research must go through the editorial board of that journal (the board is usually made up of top researchers in the field) before it is published. A researcher is more likely to get invited to conferences or write book chapters if his research appears in a top journal in his field.
